Makenna is THREE!! The Girls' Birthday Party

It is so hard to believe that my first baby girl is three!  I feel like I just brought her home and she was the sweetest easiest baby ever.   If I could have babies like Makenna every single time I would have 6 kids!  But you never know what kind of baby you will have so I don't think I will have quite that many. :)  She brings such joy to our family.  She is such a silly girl.  She loves to giggle and laugh and make jokes....mostly inappropriate.  Who would have thought that my beautiful sweet girl....would make more fart and poop jokes than her older brother. She is definitely a crazy one.  Makenna is so funny because she is SOOO girly.  She walks prissy, loves pink,  and loves all things GIRL.  However, she is wild and crazy too and can hold her own in most wrestling matches.  She loves to laugh.  She loves to sing and dance and has quite a bit of rhythm.  She just recently started a dance class with tap, ballet, and tumbling.  She is a smart girl and has an awesome memory too, but more like she remembers details and places, things, and people.  Not so much "school" facts yet.  But we will work on it.  She brings a lot of peace and love to our family.  She has an easy going demeanor that you just want to be around because being around her makes you feel better.  It is awesome and I'm so happy that she is mine! :)
I wanted to include a funny conversation and a typical one with Makenna.   This was during her good night story.  We were reading a book with bears in it and the following took place:
Makenna: Do bears have butts?
I started laughing at her question and before I could even answer she very innocently asked, "What's funny?"
It was so cute because she didn't understand why her question might cause a bit of laughter.  It was cute.
Also one of my favorite sayings of hers is, "Do your remember last morning...."  If anything ever happens it always happened "last morning" according to Makenna.  I love it!
She loves Disney Princesses and loves the movie Frozen and the songs.  Due to the song "Do you Want to Build a Snowman," if she answers you and her answer is "Okay"  She will follow it with a random "Bye."  So she says, "Okay Bye."  It's cute.  She loves to play with play-doh and hangout with her daddy whenever he is outside or in the garage working on something.
She had a birthday party the Saturday before her birthday with her sister Kayleigh.  Family came over and celebrated our two little princesses and it was a lot of fun.  She wanted an Ariel birthday cake.  And she loved opening presents!
Then for her birthday I took her to McD's to play and the kids enjoyed a M&M McFlurry.  It was a fun day.  I love this cute little girl so much.

Daddy had to buy these camo shorts for his little Princess.  He loves that they are camo and pink.

Noah gets glasses and starts KINDERGARTEN! :)

My baby boy found out that he needed glasses.   Mostly just for reading and seeing the whiteboard at school.  If he is just playing around and for everyday stuff he doesn't need them.  He looks so cute in them.  Also he started school!  He was very excited, but I could tell that he was very nervous.  He was bummed because none of his friends were going to be in his class.  So he had a hard time with that, but he has made new friends now and is enjoying it.  He got in trouble the first week for too much "talking" and "playing around."  He had to go and sit in the "Thinking Chair"a few times.  But now that school has been in session and he understands the rules and expectations he has been doing very well and staying out of the Thinking Chair. Good thing!  He is such a smart, bright boy.  His teacher said he is very social and gets along well with everyone.   He complains that school is, "Too long," and he only goes a half day which is 12:00- 4:00.  He doesn't know what long is but will find out next year when he goes 7:30-4:00.  He is always very happy and excited when I pick him up so I know he has a good time.  It was sad because on the first day of school Makenna cried for her big brother even more than I did.  She sure loves him and misses him when he's gone.  It was cute because when we were buying Noah school stuff Makenna was a little miffed and asked why she couldn't get any school stuff too.  I explained that she couldn't have it now, but would be able to get things when she started school.  With plenty of attitude she responded to me., "Well my daddy says that girls can go to school to mom."  I laughed and explained it had nothing to do with the fact that she was a girl, but she just wasn't quite old enough yet.  I love these kids of mine. :)
