On January 20th my niece Ava was born. My brother Kyle and his wife Jennifer had their first baby. It is so cool that I have a niece on my side of the family. I think she looks like Jennifer now, but when she was first born I saw a little of Makenna and Kayleigh in her. She has Kyle's eye shape, but they aren't brown yet, so it will be fun to see how she changes over the next few months. She is definitely a cutie. Below her newborn shot is a cute picture of her and Kayleigh. They are only five months a part, so should be great friends one day. :)

I was able to take the kids to the Gilbert Temple open house. It was so fun and the kids loved getting to walk through the temple and see how beautiful it was inside. When we arrived Makenna saw the temple in the distance and said, "Oh it's beautiful." Then they loved seeing each room and Noah's favorite was the Celestial Room with the, "Big chandelier." It was an awesome time and I really enjoyed it. I pray that each of my kids make it to the temple "officially" one day. I hope within it's sacred walls they marry their future spouses and make important covenants with God...and by doing so, find true happiness here on Earth. :)

This park date was so funny because there was a little boy following Makenna around calling her "Pretty Girl." He kept saying over and over and over again while following Makenna around, "Hey Pretty Girl, Hey Pretty Girl." She was getting very irritated and finally yelled back, "I NOT Pretty Girl I Makenna!" ha ha It was too cute!

January 24th marked Tom and my 10th anniversary! It's hard to believe that it has already been 10 years. Luckily I have one of the best husband's in the world so it has seriously been the happiest 10 years I could have asked for. I look forward to spending eternity with this handsome guy. We have a wonderfully life together with three beautiful kids. :)
A day at the World Wildlife Zoo! Tommy took a Friday off around April and we took the kids to the zoo. It was so much fun. The kids loved all of the animals and keep asking to go back. One of my favorite parts was eating lunch by a big, huge shark tank. It was a blast and fun family day!
